Long-term Care
Presbyterian Home for Central New York provides
skilled nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week to seniors who have greater medical needs and are less independent. The 242-bed Long-term Care facility offers an abundance of medical and social services, including a special needs/Alzheimer’s unit and a Parkinson’s/movement disorder residence in one central location. Since its opening in 1967, the
Home has provided a safe and secure environment
in a homelike setting for its senior residents.
For 40 years, Presbyterian Home has also
been a leader in long-term rehabilitation with an
emphasis on improving functioning skills, and
intensive short-term rehabilitation for orthopedic,
neurological and cardiac patients.
