Description

Under regular supervision, following standard procedures and specific instructions:

Perform various cleaning duties such as; vacuums carpets, dry and/or mop floors in resident rooms and other related areas.  Dusts, washes, waxes, polishes, and disinfects windows, mirrors, wheelchairs, furniture and fixtures, tile walls, doors in resident related areas.

Empties and disinfects wastebaskets and ashtrays, replenishes paper supplies, and straightens furniture in assigned areas.

May strip linen, wash and disinfect beds and furniture on patient discharge or in ambulatory resident rooms when necessary.

Performs standard cleaning procedures in other than resident related areas such as; employee dining room, staff offices, and other rooms as requested.

Deliver clean linen to the wings twice daily.

Performs other duties as required.
